You want to help our democracy? You want to help register voters? We have Online Voter Registration and this is our from-your-kitchen-table and in-your-yoga-pants voter registration drive! There’s not much time but do what we can. Sign up for your list of unregistered voters: https://tinyurl.com/NJVotes2021
Q1: HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO WRITE? All or some. If you have the capability, you can print the text from your printer and buy Avery 5160 labels and print them out. But please do personalize a little bit (stickers, smiley faces, “Your neighbor ~ first name”).
Q2: WHEN MUST THESE BE DONE? With the voter registration deadline being May 18th and with Online Voter Registration, this will be the quickest turnaround. No later than May 14th.
Q3: WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS SUPPLY? The postcards and the postcard stamps @$0.36 each.
Q4: HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
- Sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/NJVotes2021
- You will get an email with the 1-page Instruction and the PDF file of the names
- You write the postcards and names/addresses and drop them in the mail ASAP!
Q5: HOW MANY UNREGISTERED VOTER NAMES ARE THERE? Here’s what we have:
- CD-2: 14,850
- CD-3: 16,913
- CD-4: 13,648
- CD-7: 15,728
- CD-11: 14,486
Q6: CAN I GET THE TOWN THAT I REQUEST? It is first come- first served. We will always try to do our best to get you the town that you want. The key is to get these folks aware and registered to vote!
Q7: IF THERE’S A TOWN THAT YOU SHOULDN’T REGISTER FOLKS, SHOULD I LET YOU KNOW? Nope. This is nonpartisan and we aim to register everyone within our limited resources. If we can do more, we would.
Q8: IF I HAVE A QUESTION NOT LISTED HERE, WHAT DO I DO? Email me at Winn[at]atnjef.org! We are happy to help and you may have the same question as someone else.
