Uyen "Winn" Khuong
Founder and Executive Director
Uyen Khuong, pronounced “Winn”, immigrated to the US in 1980 from Vietnam. Uyen was honored in Washington D.C. as a We Are Emily Award recipient from EMILY’s List for her work in grassroots organizing with ATNJ. She serves on the Board of Directors for the League of Women Voters NJ, Board of Advisors for NJ State Unity PAC, and Steering Committee of Rising Stars at the Eagleton Institute. Serving on Governor Murphy’s Diversity and Inclusivity Council, Uyen is also the recipient of Senator Menendez’s Evangelina Menendez Trailblazer Award. Through her leadership, ATNJ has also received the Community Service Award from the American Muslim Council and the Breaking Barriers Award from CAIR-NJ.
Our statewide team of dedicated leaders is comprised of the state team who provide resources and support, and our on-the-ground local leaders, the County Co-Chairs.
Human Resources Director
Cheryl Marciano is a Human Resources professional with over 17 years of experience with recruiting, employee relations, benefits and other areas of HR across multiple industries. She has a degree in Psychology and HR certifications including: SPHR, SHRM-CP, HCS, CHRS and FPC. Additionally, Cheryl has used her passion for HR to volunteer with non-profit groups including teaching an interview skills class for displaced workers for several years. Cheryl joined ATNJ last year as a Warren County Co-Chair and has been active in local campaigns over the last couple of years.
